State Extension Programmes for Extension Reforms

To give impetus to the ongoing extension programmes of the development departments, the aforesaid scheme shall be implemented during the Xth Five Year Plan.

Based out researchable and extension issues district work plan for the period 01.10.2005 to 30.06.2006 has been prepared in consultation with the BTT's and FAC's of 9 Blocks and ZRS and KVK, Mashobra and Rohru. Details with respect to the strategy for development of Agriculture and allied sectors, thrust areas of extension and research needs of Shimla District for the year 2005-2006. HRD Plan, information of extension staff of line departments, information training facilities, head-wise and sector-wise district extension work plan or nine months area.

The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, in partial modification of Notification No. Agr.F(I)-4/2003, dated 20.10.2003, is pleased to reconstitute the Governing Board for the establishment of Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) in Shimla District for the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Scheme "Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reforms"
